K- 8 Facility: This project consisted of an addition to the Crooksville Elementary School containing kindergarten through 8th grade with a projected enrollment of 748 students.  The scope of the project called for additional classrooms including two new kindergartens, four science labs, a library/media center and administration offices. A new 800-seat capacity gymnasium was also added.

High School Facility: Alterations within the existing structure included new office/guidance areas, the addition of a computer lab at the existing library and renovation of the existing gym/cafeteria. Complete upgrades to the HVAC and control systems were also included in the project scope. In addition, improvements were made in the areas of technology, fire alarm, security and plumbing.

Variations in site grade between the K-8 and High School buildings required interior ramping in the addition. Consideration was needed with respect to the Elementary School addition which would allow for future expansion and/or demolition of the existing K-8 building.
