Building E Auditorium and Offices

FMS Architects is designing and managing on-going renovations at ODNR’s Fountain Square campus. Recent work includes a new state-of-the-art conference center, numerous office renovations, ADA upgrades to increase accessibility, and replacement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for better energy and resource conservation. A full building renovation included roof replacement and all new windows on a 30,000 sf, 3 story building. Three other buildings have received roof replacements. Design scope extends from programming, feasibility studies, and facility assessments through design, construction documents, and construction administration. 
Scope of work has included plans for a new assembly center, office reconfigurations, new accessible elevators and restrooms, new roof and windows, and building safety systems. General facility assessments and improvements, equipment inventories, and construction documents for multiple interior projects have also been included in our project scope. We have been working on this campus since 1998. Throughout the process we have always maintained a high level of client satisfaction by tailoring our work and approach to match the evolving goals and priorities of ODNR.


Building D Office Suite

Interior, non-structural renovations of the lobby and office suite on the first floor helped ot meet ODNR's changing needs. The lobby was updated to better meet accessibility needs and a new tile floor and custom reception desk added.


Watercraft Building Renovation

SIZE: 9,275 SQ FT COST: $262,300bullet COMPLETION DATE: 2012

FMS was selected by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to provide technical expertise and construction documentation on this renovation of an existing metal vehicle storage facility. It included exterior architectural work, extensive gas, water and electrical service coordination. Heaters, ventilators and electrical distribution systems were also replaced. There was minor interior work completed in which FMS provided specification services. FMS provided all the documentation, specifications, permitting and construction coordination for this renovation project.
